Euro/Epoxy Drawer Slides

Epoxy or Euro drawer slides are an economical drawer slide typically installed in value line cabinetry and furniture applications. This style of drawer slide offers motion by a plastic wheel, or roller wheel, on either end of the slide members which bear the entire weight of the drawer. This design allows minor flaws in cabinet or furniture design to be accommodated by the wide tracks in which the wheels roll. This feature makes these slides attractive to high volume manufactures of low end value cabinetry.

Many manufacturers have modified the Epoxy design to improve its lifespan, closing mechanism and rolling qualities. Fulterer’s FR 1921, for example, offers larger than average roller wheels constructed from nylon and coated with epoxy to provide very smooth running properties as well as an extended lifespan. In addition they have increased the length of the gravity activated self closing ramp which increases the self closing distance for a better user experience.
