Soft closing side mount drawer slides are self closing drawer slides with an added piston which slows the motion of the drawer upon closure. These perform excellent in kitchen and bathroom cabinetry and are the preferred feature of cabinet makers around the world. Side mount soft closing drawer slides, as the name implies, are intended to mounted to the side of the drawer but we've found that center mounting them under the drawer works also but substantially reduces the capacity of the slide. The Accuride 3832EC is a medium duty easy-close full extension side mount soft close drawer slide (refer to demonstration video in the documentation tab). Recommended applications for this slide are for use in wood pedestals, dresser and desk drawers, casework, residential and kitchen cabinetry. Note that for the ?gold medal performance?; be sure the drawer box is 1-1/16 smaller than the cabinet drawer opening. The easy close feature brings drawers to a smooth gentle close; the mechanism has an automatic reset with a stroke of about 1.75?. Further, the mechanism is partially shielded to prevent unwanted debris from entering and interfering with operation, and finally a balanced pull force ensures the drawer is less likely to pull out of the users hand and unintentionally re-close when opening.
